    Easy Greek Chicken Marinade

    This has to be one of my favourite marinade flavours for chicken skewers, chicken breasts and even a whole roast chicken. It goes perfectly with my Greek Lemon Rice and is the marinade I use in my Greek Rice Bowls.

    Easy Greek yoghurt chicken marinade

    The secret ingredient in this greek flavoured marinade is greek yoghurt! It not only provides gorgeous flour but tenderises the chicken at the same time. It grills perfectly without burning which is exactly what you want in a BBQ chicken marinade.

    Ingredients of greek marinade

    Ingredients

    • Chicken
    • Greek yoghurt
    • Minced garlic
    • Lemon juice
    • Parsley (fresh or dried)
    • Oregano (dried)
    • Thyme (dried)
    • Olive oil
    • Salt & Pepper

    Instructions

    Chicken breast Easy Greek yoghurt chicken marinade

    If you’re using whole chicken breasts, butterfly them, and bang them out using a rolling pin.

    Cover in the marinade and cook in the oven, BBQ or frypan.

    If you are making chicken skewers, dice chicken breast and place chicken pieces on a wooden skewer.

    Cook in the oven, BBQ or frypan.

    Ingredients
      

    • Chicken breast, thigh or whole chicken
    • 2 cups Greek yoghurt
    • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
    • 2 tbsp Olive oil
    • 2 tbsp fresh parsley Chopped finely
    • 2 tbsp Oregano dried
    • 2 tbsp Thyme dried
    • 2 tbsp Minced garlic
    • salt and pepper to taste

    Instructions
     

    • Mix all of the marinade ingredients together.
    • Cover chicken in marinade and cook chicken as desired.
