Wait until you try these incredible fish tacos with the BEST sauce! With tender fish fillets that you can bake or fry, stuffed in a soft taco with some fresh salad ingredients and topped with a tasty sauce. Not only do these fish tacos taste AMAZING, but they only take just a few minutes to make.
Ingredients
I've used frozen fish fillets from Woolworths to keep costs down, but you can use any type of fish fillets you like. The best would be fresh snapper or cod, or you could just use frozen fillets like I have.
- soft tacos
- white fish fillets
- paprika (sweet paprika is best)
- cumin
- salt & pepper
- garlic powder
- kewpie mayonnaise
- sour cream
- sriracha sauce
- lime juice
- coleslaw mix and red onions (or salads of choice)
- feta
- coriander
- soft tacos
- olive oil
- sliced lime to serve
See the recipe card below for quantities.
Instructions
Drizzle the olive oil over the fish.
Combine the paprika, cumin, salt and pepper together and cover both sides of the fish.
Grill the fish in a frypan or BBQ for 5 minutes on each side until cooked through. If you are using the oven to cook the fish, you will want to bake the fish for 12 minutes at 200 degrees.
While the fish is cooking, start making the sauce. Mix the mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic powder, sriracha and lime juice together to make the sauce.
Assemble the soft tacos together by adding the cooked fish and coleslaw mix and top with feta and the homemade sauce.
