A busy mum’s guide to creating an easy BBQ Christmas Feast

This post is a collaboration with Woolworths

With Christmas in Australia during the scorching hot summer, you can forget about a white Christmas, so what better way to celebrate our warm Christmas than with an Aussie BBQ feast! Now, don't let the word 'feast' scare you off and definitely don't put it in the too hard basket. This is super easy to put together and as a bonus, it's budget-friendly. The hardest parts are cooking the meat on the BBQ and setting up the table.

How amazing does everything look? Pretty delicious, huh! I'll list all the products I used below and how I put them together to create this Aussie Christmas BBQ Feast! I used 4 different types of prepared salads, 3 different types of meat, bread rolls and sauces. I told you it was simple! Don't forget that BBQ foods make the best leftovers, so if you don't eat it all, put it in some storage containers and pop it in the fridge.

    SALADS

Woolworths has a large range of prepared salads, so there is no need for you to make any. You just open the packet/container, add the dressing and you're ready to go! For this BBQ feast, I went with these: creamy pasta salad, crunchy noodle salad and a thai salad.

    MEATS

Again, I tried to keep it simple and pick foods that are easy to pop on the BBQ and cook with little prep. I went with sausages, chicken kebabs, simply heat and eat ribs, and rissoles.

    SEAFOOD

You can’t go past 1kg of fresh tiger prawns with seafood sauce. Prawns go perfectly with a Christmas BBQ feast.

    SUPPLIES

Go with disposable items; you can thank me later. Not only do they look super cute for the Christmas theme, but you can simply recycle everything at the end of the meal and you don't have to spend hours washing up and cleaning. Woolworths has the most gorgeous range of Christmas tableware available this year and you can even buy them in a pack to make things a little easier.

If you create your own BBQ feast, tag me on Facebook or Instagram! I'd love to see them.
