My viral Lamington Wreath is the easiest "no bake" Christmas dessert you will make. Best of all, it will take under 10 minutes to put together using just a few store-bought ingredients.
When I say easy, I mean easy! You just buy everything you need to make it from the supermarket and assemble it in under 10 minutes. I made homemade whipped cream as it seems to hold up much better than the canned spray cream, but you could use the canned stuff, too.
Ingredients
This is everything you will need to make this Lamington Christmas wreath dessert!
- lamington fingers
- thickened cream (I add icing sugar and vanilla essence to my whipped cream)
- strawberry jam
- diced strawberries
- chocolate slices
- fresh mint
See the recipe card below for quantities.
Instructions
Whip the cream until stiff with ¼ cup icing sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla essence.
Put the cream in a piping bag or spoon the cream on one side of each of the lamingtons.
Continue piping the cream and placing the lamingtons together into a wreath shape.
Drizzle over some store-bought strawberry jam.
Top with chopped strawberries.
Add chocolate slices and fresh mint to garnish.
Tips
- You can make this a few hours ahead of time and store it in the fridge. It holds up well!
- Add any toppings you like! You could make a mint-flavoured one too.
- You can buy the piping bags with the nozzles in the box from the supermarket in the cake section.

Was my go to, easy to put together didn't take much time at all.
I took the wreath style as inspiration for my kids playgroup parties and added strawberries in the middle.
Made for Xmas lunch desert and other partied during December and as expected it was the 1st dessert gone.
I did use coles brand dark mint chocolate just to help save some $ as I made a few of them over December.
