It's that time of year again! That came around pretty fast, right? I love Christmas, so I thought I better start sharing all my Christmas posts with you. Last year, I shared these on my Facebook page, and the image went viral, so this year I decided to share them in a blog post with some more detailed instructions and pictures. If you would like to share how to make them, please link the blog post so it includes all the images and instructions. These Watermelon Christmas Trees are perfect for school break up parties or a healthy treat for Christmas parties.
All you need to make these Oh So Easy Watermelon Christmas Trees is a watermelon quarter and a knife.
How To Make Watermelon Christmas Trees
Step 1. Using a quarter of a watermelon, slice off pieces about 1 cm thick from the end and continue down the whole watermelon. You will end up with about 6-10 large triangles.
Step 2. Lay each of the large triangles flat and cut them in half again. You will now end up with about 20 smaller triangles.
Step 3. Cut the trunk of the tree on each of the smaller triangles by cutting out the rectangle shape on each side.
That's it! Yes, it's that easy - with no wasted parts of watermelon.
