How to make the perfect Easter grazing platter!

    March 23, 2018 by ohsobusymum 1 Comment

This post is a collaboration with Woolworths

With Easter fast approaching, I wanted to share how to create the PERFECT Easter grazing platter! We all know Easter is the best time to indulge in copious amounts of hot cross buns and chocolate, right? And it’s the only day of the year where it’s totally acceptable to eat chocolate Easter eggs for breakfast.

This Easter grazing platter would be perfect to have on the table at your Easter gathering or as a gift (on a smaller scale) for a family member or school teacher. What I love about grazing platters is that there is NO baking or cooking required! YES!  All you have to do is open packets and pop it all together on a board, and voila - it looks amazing. The hardest part will be choosing what you want to include on your platter and trying to make it all fit on the board.

You can add anything you like to the platter! I used products that were on sale at Woolworths this week and also common Easter favourites, like hot cross buns and Easter eggs. If you want to add some cheese, meat and dips, you could do a separate grazing platter and make a chocolate one for dessert.

This is what I used to put together this Easter grazing platter! I’ve included the links for you too, so you can find the products easily if you decide to shop online.

    •   Woolworths Mini Hot Cross Buns (chocolate & traditional)
    •   Woolworths Sweet Nut Collection
    •   Fruit
    •   Cadbury Milk Fingers
    •   Tim Tams
    •   KitKat Block
    •   Easter eggs
    •   Woolworths Marshmallows
    •   Waffles
    •   Nutella

Now, watch how easy it was to put this together! It literally took me 5 minutes to assemble and serve. If you don’t have a large wooden board, you can just use a sheet of brown paper, a piece of cardboard or a baking tray. If you have any leftovers, make sure you pop everything in a container and store in the fridge! You don’t want to waste anything!

I’d love to see photos of the Easter grazing platters you put together this Easter. Tag me on Facebook or share on my Facebook page. I can’t wait to see all the chocolate goodness grazing platters you create!
