You'll be surprised once you taste this Tuscan Chicken at how juicy and tender the chicken is when combined with the creamy sauce. Everyone that tried my Tusacn Chicken recipe falls in love with it!

    Creamy Tuscan Chicken ingredients

Most of these ingredients you probably have on hand in the pantry and fridge. They all go so perfectly together to make the BEST Creamy Tuscan chicken you will make.

    Ingredients

    • chicken breasts
    • tuscan seasoning
    • onion powder
    • salt & pepper
    • brown onion
    • garlic
    • sundried tomato strips
    • thickened cream
    • fresh baby spinach
    • grated parmesan cheese
    • olive oil

See the recipe card for quantities below.

    Instructions

If you don't like sundried tomatoes, feel free to swap them out for cherry tomatoes.

    Creamy Tuscan Chicken Step 1

Heat oil in a frying pan on a medium heat. You can use olive oil or a little oil from the sundried tomatoes.

    Creamy Tuscan Chicken Step 3

Prepare the chicken by butterflying or flattening the chicken breasts to ensure even cooking. Season the chicken with tuscan seasoning, salt, and pepper. Fry the chicken in the pan for approximately 6 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the pan and set it aside.

    Creamy Tuscan Chicken Step 4

In the same pan, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté them for about 1 minute over medium heat until fragrant and slightly softened. Add the chopped sun-dried tomatoes and simmer for an additional minute.

    Creamy Tuscan Chicken Step 6

Pour in the thickened cream and stir until combined. Add the garlic salt and the extra tablespoon of tuscan seasoning. Allow the sauce to simmer for 4 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.

    Creamy Tuscan Chicken Step 7

Add the baby spinach leaves and grated parmesan cheese to the pan. Let them simmer for 1 minute until the spinach wilts and the cheese melts into the sauce.

    Creamy Tuscan Chicken Step 8

Return the cooked chicken back to the pan, coating it with the creamy tuscan sauce. Serve the chicken over cooked pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes, spooning extra sauce over the top.

Hint: If you like a little spice, add some chilli flakes to the recipe at the end.

What to serve this Creamy Tuscan Chicken with?

What I love about this recipe is how easy it is to serve it in so many different ways. If you feel like rice, pasta or potatoes.

    • Mash potato - The creamy sauce and chicken go perfectly over the mashed potato.
    • Pasta - This is how I tend to serve it 80% of the time I cook it. You can use any type of pasta you like.
    • Vegetables - Steamed vegetables go perfectly as a side with mashed potatoes or pasta.
    • Rice - White rice also goes well with the creamy chicken and sauce.
