- soy sauce
- dark soy

To Serve
- cooked rice
- carrots

- sesame seeds

Instructions
Mix all the sauce ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat and drizzle in the sesame oil. Cook the beef mince for approximately 6 to 8 minutes, using a spatula to break it apart as it cooks.
Ensure the beef is fully cooked and there is no pink colour remaining.
Add the onion and minced garlic to the pan.
Cook for 1 to 2 minutes until they soften and become fragrant.
Pour in the sauce mixture and cook for 3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and coat the ingredients.
Serve over cooked rice with a side of shredded carrot and sliced cucumber. Garnish with chopped shallots and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
I like to use the 5 star premium mince (it contains less fat) when making these Asian Style Beef Bowls, but any type of mince will work.
