Light and fluffy scones (Thermomix recipe included)

    July 4, 2021 by ohsobusymum 2 Comments

This has to be the BEST scone recipe ever! If you want a light and fluffy scone recipe, this is for you. They are easy to make and the recipe is no-fail every single time. I make them in my Thermomix, but you can make them without the Thermomix and they will still turn out perfect!

    What you will need

    • Self raising flour
    • Butter
    • Sugar (you can leave this one out if you like)
    • Egg
    • Cream
    • Full cream milk

Now, you can leave out the sugar, and it won't affect the recipe turning out perfectly! I like a little bit of sweetness in my scones. You can also subsitute the self-rasing flour for gluten free self-raising flour with no other changes to the recipe. A few of my readers have confirmed they still turn out perfectkly with the gluten free flour.

If you want to serve these light and fluffy scones with the best ever cream, you can find my recipe HERE! It's seriously the best cream you can make to serve with scones or pikelets.
