    Fuel Bento Lunch Box Review

    Fuel Bento Box

    RRP $22.95

The Fuel Bento lunch box comes with the main lunchbox shell, 2 removable trays (that are microwave-safe), and both trays have separate lids. The Fuel Bento can be purchased online from Lime Tree Kids.

    Things I like:

    • Easy to open for small hands.
    • Separate containers with lids you can store in the fridge separately from the outer lunch box shell.
    • Great size.
    • Reasonable price.

    Things I don't like:

    • It's a little tricky to dry the gaps behind the removable trays.

The fuel bento lunch box has 4 compartments with 2 removable trays that both have separate lids. It measures 26cm x 17cm x 6.5cm and holds 6 cups (1500ml). The larger side compartment can fit a whole sandwich without having to cut it up into pieces to fit, with the smaller side fitting a fruit salad, yoghurt and crackers. I find it is very easy to open for smaller kids, with the one clip at the front and easy to open inner lids.

This lunch box seems to hold a lot of food for its size, which I just love, and it would also be perfect for an adult's lunch box.  I prefer to make my kids' lunches the night before, and I like how I can remove the containers and pop them into the fridge without having to put the entire lunch box in the fridge. Also, it is dishwasher safe. However, it is recommended to hand wash to prolong the life.

Overall, I love this lunch box, and there isn't anything I can fault about it. It is a perfect size without being too big or small and it fits the "fridge to go" cooler bag.

Hope you can clarify. Your review mentions this fuel bento box fits in the fridge to go bag. I used the links and checked them out but the measurements don't really match up. Are you able to clarify which fridge to go this actually fits in. I have the box already but it's too long for any of our cooler bags. Thank you.

It fits in to the medium fridge to go bag. It's a tight fit but it fits nice and snug.

Do the lids seal this box? How would it go with a sloppier mains eg leftover casserole?
