You need to try my viral crispy bacon and cheese potato hack using the "steam in a bag" potatoes from the supermarket.

The potatoes in a bag are around $2.90 for 500 grams and only take 7 minutes to steam in the microwave. This saves having to boil them and makes for a quick and easy meal idea. I use them all the time now!

Ingredients
- steam in a bag potatoes
- diced bacon
- grated cheese
- olive oil
- sour cream and chives to serve

Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°c and line a tray with baking paper. Steam the potatoes in the microwave for 7 minutes.
Step 2
Remove from the bag and lay out on the lined tray. Spray each of the tops of potatoes with olive oil. Squish down each of the potatoes using the bottom of a glass.
Step 3
Top with the diced bacon (you don't have to cook this first)
Step 4
Top with grated cheese and place in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until crispy.
Step 5
Remove from the oven and top with a dollop of sour cream and chopped chives.

Step 6
Serve!
