    4 Ingredient Vegemite Pasta

    It doesn’t get much easier than this 4 Ingredient Vegemite Pasta, and you only need a few minutes to make it. I used the Dinosaur shaped pasta that I found at Woolworths, which made the perfect kid approved cheesy dinosaur vegemite pasta.

    There is no denying that most kids LOVE vegemite, pasta and cheese, so this pasta is the perfect combo! It's also my "go to" pasta dish to make when I only have a few minutes to feed hungry little kids.

    You can use spaghetti pasta, penne pasta or any other pasta you like! The bonus is you will most likely have all of these ingredients already on hand in the fridge and pantry, so give it a go. I found the recipe on the Vegemite website and changed the recipe a little for extra flavour.

    4 Ingredient Vegemite Pasta Ingredients

    Ingredients

    • pasta (you can use any type, but I used the dinosaur pasta from Woolworths)
    • salted butter
    • Vegemite
    • grated cheese

    How to make it

    1. Cook the pasta as per instructions on the packet.
    2. Once the pasta has cooked, drain it and remove it from heat.
    3. Melt the butter and vegemite in the microwave for 20 seconds, stirring halfway. The vegemite won’t completely mix together with the butter, but warming it first makes it easier to mix through the pasta.
    4. Mix the butter, vegemite and cheese through the pasta while it’s still hot.
    5. Serve!

    • 1 packet pasta 300-400 grams
    • 3 tablespoons butter
    • 2 tablespoons vegemite you can adjust this for taste
    • 1 cup grated cheese

    This cheesy vegemite pasta is best eaten fresh but can be stored for up to 3 days in the fridge.
