Nude Rubbish Free Lunch Box

Available from Big W, Kmart or Coles.

Included: Main lunch box with the sandwich compartment, two smaller compartments and two spots for the removable snack cups

What I liked:

  • Large size
  • Snack cups are handy
  • Easy to open

What I didn’t like:

  • Not the best quality
  • Hard to wash

rubbish free 3

I love the snack cups and have started using them without the lunch box, purely for snacks in the car for the little ones. This rubbish-free lunch box is affordable for families on a budget and easy to purchase at your local grocery store. It’s a great lunch box to start out with the “rubbish-free style” lunches. We have been through a few of these lunch boxes over the years. I must say they didn’t last more than a few months before something broke, and I would prefer to spend the money on a more expensive lunch box that will last the whole school year.

I found it harder to wash with the lids not being removable and so many different pieces to wash. The little extra containers are easy to clean even when filled with yoghurt.

I bought this one and the smaller version at the start of last year when my daughter started kindy, all year I’ve just been popping the lids off before sticking it all in the dishwasher, am I not supposed to be doing that?? Oops! It still all works and seals just as it did a year ago.

How do you mean this new one and the lids not being removable? have they changed the design? On ours, the only lid that you cannot remove is the middle/sandwich lid. The other two pull out. Can you take a closer photo please?
