This post is a collaboration with Woolworths
‘Tis the season to be prepared and avoid that last minute Christmas shopping rush. I try and avoid the shops if I can on the week before Christmas, so online shopping and being prepared is the key to making my grocery shopping a breeze. There is no way I want to take all four kids to the shops at the busiest time of the year and do my groceries.
I thought I would put together this blog post to help you get the most out of your online Christmas grocery shop and make Christmas shopping a breeze! I made sure I included my favourite 2 ingredient Christmas recipe (no-bake gingerbread balls) so that you can add the ingredients to your online shopping order.
Here are my top tips for making Christmas food shopping a breeze!
One
Shop online
My number one tip to shopping this Christmas! You can sit in bed and order all your groceries without having to find a car park, push a trolley or take the kids along with you. It sounds relaxing, doesn’t it? Shopping online with Woolworths has never been easier, and is STRESS free.
Two
Book your online delivery slot at Woolworths now
Delivery slots can book up quickly over busy periods, so it’s best to jump online now and secure your delivery time so you don’t miss out. You have until 6pm AEDT on the 23rd to get groceries delivered to your door in time for Christmas.
Three
Select pick up as an option
If you can’t select your desired delivery spot, simply select free pick up as an option. It will still save you time and money by shopping online. & remember, last orders will be until 6pm AEDT, 23 December for Pick up the next day!
Four
Write a list and check it twice
When you shop online, you want to make sure you grab everything you need so you don’t have to go and grab extra items that you have missed.
Five
Shop sale items
I know I have mentioned this tip many times before, but it’s such a great tool when shopping online. The first thing I do is shop special items before I search in any other section.
Six
Grab everything in the one shop
When I say grab everything, I mean everything! You can shop for toys, edible gifts, Christmas decorations and Christmas tableware all in the one shop.
Seven
Use your rewards card and redeem any Christmas points
If you’ve been banking up those Woolworths rewards points, now is the time to redeem them to get money off your Christmas shop!
Eight
Search the online Christmas section
You don’t want to miss out on all the limited Christmas products that are out at the moment, so make sure you check that section out.
Nine
Pop these 2 ingredients on your online shopping list so you can make these 2 ingredient no- bake Gingerbread balls this Christmas!
What you need
- 2 packets of ginger nut biscuits
- 1 tin condensed milk
Directions
- Crush biscuits and mix in the tin of condensed milk.
- Roll mixture into teaspoon shaped balls and roll in sprinkles or crushed biscuits.
- Enjoy!
I hope this post helps you be more prepared for your online Christmas shop!
