We stay at the gorgeous Grand Mirage in Nusa Dua in Bali every year, and I must say that it's one of our favourite family friendly resorts. Why? Number one for us is that it's all-inclusive, meaning everything is sorted, and we don't have to worry about a thing when we're staying there, which is a dream holiday for me.
Location
The Grand Mirage is situated in Nusa Dua, which is one of our favourite places to stay in Bali. It’s family-friendly and located away from the bustling tourist areas, while still being conveniently close to everything you might want to do. Just outside the resort, there’s a main street filled with restaurants, convenience stores, and everything else you could possibly need.
The Resort
The Grand Mirage is an all-inclusive resort, but you can opt out of the all-inclusive package and just include your room and breakfast. We like the all-inclusive option as I like that it's all prepaid and we don't have to spend another cent.
There are 2 sides to the resort, the main wing and the family wing, connected by a pathway (it only takes 5 minutes to walk between the 2 sides).

Main Wing
The main wing has newly renovated rooms, and now that the lazy river has opened is our favourite side to stay with teens. We spent most of our time on this side of the resort with our older kids.
Family Wing
The family wing is made for families! It has a kids club, water slides, family-friendly restaurants and family-friendly rooms. If you have younger kids, I would select a room on this side of the resort.
All Inclusive Option
What does the all-inclusive option include? It is a true all-inclusive resort with unlimited food and drinks.
- All Meals including breakfast, lunch and dinner (including daily mini bar restock and room service)
- Unlimited beverages including cocktails, beer, wine and soft drinks
- Non-motorised water sports and you get a discount on motorised water sports
- Laundry with 2 pieces per person included daily (you can stack them too)
- Dinner with a Balinese show
Our Room
Main Wing - We stayed in 2 connecting New Premiere Ocean View Rooms which had a king bed, balcony with ocean view and plenty of room.
