This post is a collaboration with Woolworths
It’s beginning to look a lot like…entertaining! I love putting together different platters to enjoy with friends and family. I would usually create a cheese platter with dips, cold meats and crackers, but this time I needed something a little more filling, so I decided to create this one using Woolworths frozen party food products.
Woolworths have some exciting new products available in the freezer section. The wide selection of frozen food is perfect for making platters. If you have a celebration or get together coming up, this platter would be the easiest (and yummiest) way to feed a hungry crowd.
Why I love to creating entertaining platters
There is something for everyone
You can add a variety of foods and cater to just about every taste. You can make hot platters, cold platters, cheese platters or dessert platters. I promise you there is a platter for everyone!
They look amazing
Talk about Insta-worthy! A simple platter can look fantastic served up on a table at a party.
They can be budget friendly to create
This one cost just $50 to put together and it was enough food to feed 15 people with leftovers.
How do I create the perfect entertaining platter?
Firstly, you’ll need a large board or platter to serve the food on. I prefer to use round wooden boards, but any shape or size will work. If you don’t have a large enough platter, you can always use a few different smaller sized boards. If you are using foods that you don’t want to touch on a board, you can simply layer them using bowls.
What products I used to create this hot party food platter
- Woolworths Cheeseburger Spring Rolls
- Woolworths Pumpkin & Harissa Bites
- Woolworths Bolognese Arancini
- Woolworths Chicken & Mushroom Arancini
- Woolworths Polenta & Parmesan Chips
- Woolworths Zucchini & Feta Fritters
- Serving sauces (tomato sauce, burger sauce and BBQ)
If you put together this platter, make sure you tag me at @ohsobusymum so I can share it with my audience. I’ll have a few more different types of platters up on the blog soon for you.

You know what? I've always put entertaining platters together but it's always been the usual cheese and deli meats. This one is different and one I'm sure one the kids (and adults) would love. Thanks for the idea x

Thanks, I'm going to do this for a 40th birthday mid month. I'll take photos and let you know how it goes. I'm excited. Thanks again.
