Late last night I was scrolling through Pinterest (as you do at 11 pm), and I found these adorable floral tea bags, so I thought I would give them a go and share it with you. They are so cheap and easy to make if you have flowers in the garden or, if you're anything like me and can't keep anything alive, the local florist will be happy to give you a few different flower stems for a great price. They make the perfect unique touch to Mother's Day morning tea, and the kids will love making them too!
This Flower Tea Bags DIY is hardly a DIY, it's so easy to create! They literally take minutes to put together. I picked up this sweet tea set from Kmart for $10 along with a cup and saucer (2-pack) for $20.
All you need
- tea bags
- flower buds
- scissors
Directions
- Cut the paper tag off the end of the tea bag.
- Carefully tie the string onto the end of the flower bud, leaving enough room for it to hang out the side of the teacup.
- Trim any excess string or flower stem.
- Voila! Prepare your tea.
