15 Minute Spaghetti Carbonara

This Spaghetti Carbonara is the easiest pasta dish you can make and it's ready in under 15 minutes. Not only is it quick and easy to make, you only need a few ingredients to make it.

Ingredients
  

  • 250 grams spaghetti pasta
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 300 grams bacon diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup reserved pasta water
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Cook the spaghetti pasta as per the instructions on the packet. You’ll be reserving some of this pasta water for the end of the recipe.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and the parmesan cheese and set aside.
  • Use a large fry pan over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and bacon and cook for around 8 minutes or until crispy. 
Add the garlic to the pan and reduce heat to low. Cook for 1 minute.
  • Turn off the heat. Moving quickly, stir in the cooked pasta and egg mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Gradually add the reserved pasta water, one tablespoon at a time, until the desired consistency is reached.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve straight away.
