This post is a collaboration with Spoonflower
I’m so darn obsessed with wrapping presents, so I thought I would share how to jazz up your Christmas gifts this year! I searched Spoonflower for the perfect wrapping paper to suit the look I’m going for which was a little tricky as they have over 10,000 designs to pick from. Along with the wrapping paper, I ordered some fabulous wallpaper, but I’ll save that for another post. For the wrapping paper, I went with Christmas cactus, Christmas flamingos with caravans by Andrea Lauren and some bright string lights by Misstiina. You can find the complete range of gift wrap here! Oh, and the team over at Spoonflower is offering all my readers 10% off using the code OSBM17.
Here are some simple things you can use to jazz up those Christmas presents!
- Washi tape
- Pom Poms
- Plant offcuts
- Christmas decorations
- Contrasting wrapping paper
Now, do you want to know how to wrap like a pro? I’ll share a few tips and photos for you! The key to wrapping perfectly is all in the creasing! Make sure you firmly crease each fold to give it a neat finish.
Lay your present face down on top of wrapping paper, with the pattern facing away from you.
Measure how much you need while keeping it attached to the roll and cut to length.
Keep it tight (this will give it a clean finish) and tape the centre together.
Fold in each side one at time and tape. Repeat on the other side.
I’d love to know what colours you’re going with for Christmas this year! Tag me on Instagram @ohsobusymum or share on my Facebook page or post. I’m keen to see how you have wrapped all your presents this year.
