What I like:
- Perfect size for older children or big eaters
- Everything is included in the price
- Strong and sturdy
- Easy to wash
- Lightweight
What I don't like:
- Price is at the high end
- It can be a bit big for the school bag
- Lid can be tricky for younger children
The Go Green has a total of 5 compartments; one is used to hold the drink bottle, but this can be removed to hold food instead. My 8- and 10-year-old have been using the Go Green Lunch Box for 2 years, and they are indeed strong and worth the money. This lunch box has it all. It's large, comes with a cooler bag and a drink bottle.
The Go Green works on a turn'n'lock technology; this ensures the food stays fresh, and the silicone bands ensure a secure, leak-proof seal for all five sections. The insulated carry bag comes in a range of different prints and features a pocket to hold reusable napkins, eating utensils, and even a whiteboard to write messages. I have read some comments about this lunch box being hard to open for younger kids, but my 3-year-old can open it just fine with some practice. I think, due to the size of this lunch box, it would be suited to older school children, and you will find a better option for younger children in childcare. The Go Green is durable and is BPA- and phthalate-free.
The price for this lunch box is on the higher side, but included is an ice pack, cooler bag & stainless steel drink bottle, and if you purchased each item separately it would quickly add up. Overall, we love our Go Greens, and I think they are worth the outlay, as this is our third school year we will still be using them.
Overall, this lunch box is my favourite because of the size and quality. If I had to pick a fault, it would have to be that it is so big and sometimes hard to fit into the school bag.

Hi, I'm looking at getting one of these, can you fit whole pieces of fruit in them i.e. an apple or a banana? I'm not sure I want to be bound to cutting fruit up every day!
Thanks.

Hi Cheree! Great review. I was just wondering if an apple could fit in one of the compartments or if it isn't deep enough?
